Jobe's Asian Treasures Opens for Business Online
New York, NY (PRWEB) May 27, 2008 -- New web site www.JobesAsianTreasures.com opens its doors for business, supplying a stunning array of Asian-themed jewelry in a variety of precious stones.
"I've always loved jewelry," says store owner Linda Jobe, who had long been looking for an opportunity to open an online business. "It doesn't have to be expensive jewelry -- just beautiful jewelry. I've also always liked things from the Orient; I'm fascinated with the Silk Road and myths around that. I chose the word 'treasures' because I loved pirate movies when I was a girl, and I always loved the image of opening a treasure chest and finding wonderful things inside."
Selecting products was a painstaking process for Linda, and one that is still ongoing. "I'm still looking for other shippers, because I want to offer a variety and range of items," she explains. "I think what I chose is fascinating. I want to keep finding new products, and let people know what the process is for finding these items."
The key to communicating with her clients and building this relationship is Linda's blog at www.AsianJewelryBlog.com, built to complement her store. "I want to keep updating people on my knowledge of jewelry," she explains. "I want to hear people's comments on the products themselves. I'll probably be talking about the new items I've put on the site, and the history of the stones. I'm a newbie to this, but it's definitely very exciting. I'll be very curious to see what my customers are interested in."
Linda invites comments by her customers, and looks forward to engaging them on her blog and answering questions about her store.
